Obama is losing support

Barak Obama was never really a strong candidate for President. As we see his popularity rating decrease across the U.S., the question arises: why was this man elected, and even futher, why on earth did he ever win the Nobel Peace Prize? We have yet to see any action that would warrant the outpouring of support that he had prior to being elected. He has not been decisive on anything noteworthy. Please prove me wrong.
